We may not always be Proper Charlies, but there's nothing stodgy about Charlie Proper. As true Anglophiles, we may dream of high tea at The Savoy while sitting in Lincoln, but that’s how we like it.
Our curiosity with worldly design inspires everything we do, from projects both big and small, every detail matters. We believe that design is a way of life, and like life, it should be approached with the proper amount of levity.
Nic
Lead Designer
Nic believes a Tête-à-Tête is an underutilized furniture piece. His true passion is crafting a living space that is functional and exemplifies the style and pursuits of his clients. When not designing, he is scouring antique markets for the perfect treasure. His current white whale is a Borne settee.
Nic graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln’s College of Architecture with a degree in Interior Design.
His career has spanned over eight years as an interior designer and has experience in construction management and visual merchandising.
Donivan
COO, Design Assistant
Donivan endeavors to follow the belief of Sir Winston Churchill that “the rule of life prescribes as an absolutely sacred rite smoking cigars”. When not laboring on operations and marketing, he is designing his secret home lounge to enjoy both a Scotch Whisky and a fine Davidoff Aniversario No. 3.
Donivan graduated from Hastings College, where he received an unusually rounded education in English, Marketing, and Science.
In his career he has founded four companies and worked in direct and indirect channel management, marketing, and construction.
